I-mitri is part of the vibrant sound system scene in Leicester since 2001 where he also promotes dances and runs the weekly radio show United Nations Of Dub (on community and student FM radio station DemonFM). Coming musically together with Richi Rootz in 2006, saw them founding the CounterAction Soundz label. He also fronts the CounterAction live band.
